SEMI ANNUAL MINISTRY REPORTS
BUILDING & GROUNDS - BOB WRIGHT
What outcomes have been observed (e.g., professions of faith, baptisms, spiritual growth, ministry involvement, etc.)?
What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- We fixed several areas of the church
- The drain that was leaking into the men’s bathroom was repaired and we’ve begun interior repairs. I received lots of input from others, so that was nice.
- Kitchen electrical circuits were upgraded so we won’t have blown fuses. Someone from the church offered to do the work.
- Scheduled a church work day that accomplished several projects. Over a dozen people showed up to help!
- Coordinated with elders and workers to identify and schedule major areas of repair - roof, A/C, parsonage, grounds, parking lot.
What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- The biggest obstacle faced has been learning the new financial system and feeling supported by the administrative support. It’s been tough trying to get my hands around the processes and learning how everything is supposed to work and how to get people reimbursed.
Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- I’m still learning how everything works and who is helping in specific areas.
- The work day was helpful in targeting individuals with skills and desires. Hopefully that will help.
- Not sure yet if the budget is adequate for what needs to happen. So far, I still have money available for things!
What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- Pray for hearts to be willing to serve and for God to bring talents to the projects.
- There’s several things that NEED to be accomplished and some dreams we’d LOVE to see happen!
FELLOWSHIP KIDS - JESSIE TONEGATTO
What outcomes have been observed (e.g., professions of faith, baptisms, spiritual growth, ministry involvement, etc.)?
- We wrapped up our midweek meetings with the Awana curriculum in May where we had anywhere from 20-28 students coming each week to learn about Jesus and spend time in His word. In July we sent 8 Elementary aged kids to Lake Ann Camp, two of them gave their life to Jesus!!
What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- With the summer months upon us, our Sunday attendance has been down due to family vacations.
- We are also down to 8 teachers who are regularly scheduled and with this shortage of teachers, we have unfortunately had to cancel Sunday Kids Church a number of times.
Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- The nursery has gained a teacher and is adequately staffed, however with Sunday Kids we could definitely use more teachers.
- For anyone interested in serving, I have tried to make it simple to serve.
- We use the Kid Konnect video lessons, which are already designated and set up on the TV, snacks are stocked up, and coloring sheets printed.
- You have access to additional crafting supplies if you would like to create something with the students.
- It is really rewarding to spend time with our kids and see them growing in their faith!
What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- Our students and toddlers are such an important part of our church!
- Please continue to pray for them to be open to learning about God's word and when the time is right to surrender their lives to Him.
- Pray also for our adults to come alongside them and minister to them as they grow.
OUTREACH - MADELEINE WRIGHT
1. What outcomes have been observed (e.g., professions of faith, baptisms, spiritual growth, ministry involvement, etc.)?
2. What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
3. Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
4. What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- AAA Pregnancy was able to be blessed by our Baby Bottle Drive.
- LIVONIA SPREE brought the opportunity to bring God's love, care, comfort and help into the Livonia community and was very welcomed.
- At our Comfort Station we interacted with many families through games, refreshments, massages, and an air conditioned respite for parents.
- At the Sunday Breakfast families welcomed our extra hands carrying plates and drinks to the tables and bussing the tables. The outcomes weren't just for the receivers, but also the helpers:
- This event allowed the opportunity for church members to get involved and come together. We saw helpers from some of our newest family members too.
2. What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- Reaching out to the church family members and finding out who would like to be on the Community Outreach Team.
- Taking the time to put together a plan.
3. Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- We are in need of putting together our Team.
4. What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- For God to touch our community through us.
- For clear guidance on where to put our efforts.
- For His help to (Hebrews 12:1) lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
RADIANT (WOMENS)
The team met on Sunday January 26th, to discuss plans for the year and things we thought the ladies and girls would enjoy. Janice was not present due to Pastor Johnny being on sabbatical.
In March we had a bowling event at Merri-Bowl with 21 young and old in attendance for bowling, food and fun! Thank you Sheeba for organizing.
In April we had our first, and hopefully not last, cooking class. Kristel Phare and Grace Mead were the instructors and demonstrated how to make Filipino lumpia and Chinese dumplings. A big THANK YOU to you both! We started with a light breakfast and then, “let the classes begin”. Cake pops were an added treat. The 20 who attended had a great time and we had a lot of positive feedback to have another class! Any suggestions on what to learn next?
The events discussed at the meeting for balance of the year are as follows. Ladies Retreat in September at Lake Ann. In October a Ladies Refresh in the evening. November the annual Ladies Holiday Tea and a White Elephant party in December. Dates for these to follow.
If you are feeling lead to join the team please let one of us know.
Thank you.

JENNY OSBOURNE:
Feedback on questions for team leaders. I do not necessarily lead this team. I would say the four of us are co-leaders. But, here is my input.
1) What outcomes have been observed (e.g., professions of faith, baptisms, spiritual growth, ministry involvement, etc.)?
2) What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
3) Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
4) What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?

1) What outcomes have been observed (e.g., professions of faith, baptisms, spiritual growth, ministry involvement, etc.)?
- I think the area we see spiritual growth would be the Ladies Bible Study. A lot is discussed and can add to help understanding scripture that may not have made sense.
- I think it would be nice to see some younger women attend. Maybe we need to rethink our structure?
2) What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- As far as obstacles or challenges it would be finding a time to meet, we all have different schedules.
3) Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- It would be wonderful to have young women join the team. They can bring fresh ideas and allow us to someday “pass the baton” for the next generation. Prep them now for the future.
- For resources, they currently meet our needs. But, with growth we would need to revisit.
4) What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- We would see women, young and old, who are lost, come to Christ.
- Those who are seeking or looking for growth in their walk with Christ, to join our Bible Study. We can learn from each other.
- Those who are feeling lead by God to join this ministry, they would take that leap of faith.
SHEEBA COOK
What outcomes have been observed (e.g., professions of faith, baptisms, spiritual growth, ministry involvement, etc.)?
- I've observed more relationships developing among the women of our church. It's also a great way to draw visitors and make them feel supported.
What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- For each of us, it's balancing other responsibilities but I think our group of four manage to help each other to get things planned well.
Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- I think it would be good for us to draw in younger women to mentor and get their input.
What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- I'd like to pray about having small home bible studies which created more ways for women to connect and build friendships on a more regular basis.
MEN'S GROUP - JOHN COOK
Men's Ministry:
1.) Outcomes for the first half of 2025:
2.) What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
3.) Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
4.) What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
1.) Outcomes for the first half of 2025:
- New people to our church are finding a place to connect with other believers in our men's group.
- Men, who haven't felt comfortable sharing, our opening up--allowing for a deeper bond among brothers in the Lord.
- Members are reaching out to lend a hand and lift up one another.
2.) What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- Reaching everyone is always a challenge with all the different schedules and vacations during summer.
3.) Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- I believe it is.
4.) What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- The men in our group desire to be godly dads and husbands. We pray for faithfulness to keep trusting in God even when things don't work out the way we want them to.
HELLO TEAM - ERIC COUNTS
- We added another greeter, Dennis Osbourne to the schedule. Praise God! I love seeing the heart of serving within the welcome team.
- The connections they are making with the visitors go deeper than just saying hello. I’ve seen conversations take place that led to prayer. Wonderful to see.
2. What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- Chad Foerster, would (part time), assist in ushering visitors. He would always rally another person to help. That being, getting the elevator ready, assisting in walking people up the stairs, opening doors and even helping direct visitors to their seats.
- Finding and Training 1 or 2 people in usher roles. This is the next challenge (opportunity).
3. Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- There is always somebody that is willing to step up to fill a need at Fellowship Bible Church. We see this in our Welcome team! I would love to see another greeter and or usher join the team.
- I would like to re-visit first timer donation site. First timers get to choose a specific charity to donate too on behalf of Fellowship Bible Church. Or something similar.
- Sounds silly but pens and pads of paper (maybe with our logo on it). Everyone is always looking for paper to take notes on.
4. What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- Pray for serving hearts. Pray that the current team’s willingness to greet continues.
- Pray for a welcoming atmosphere radiating God's love.
- Pray for kindness, patience and the ability to be a positive first impression.
MISSION TEAM - GAIL BACHTAL
- The development of Short-Term leader, Eric Counts, to effectively lead our Fort Wayne team. We had 4 individuals, who have never been on a mission trip, volunteer to be trained and participate on the Ft. Wayne team.
- We also took on a new partnership with Jonathan & Christie Swift.
2. What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- Main obstacle is not having an effective mode of keeping the congregation informed & engaged to pray & encourage our missionaries.
3. Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- Our staffing is good, but would love for it to be broadened both in age spectrum and in number of volunteers.
- Our congregation seems to know the members of current Mission Team and they have resourced various ones as they have had questions.
4. What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- Prayer for a 'Prayer Champion' for the 6 Degree Initiative.
- Of course prayer for next generations to have interest & willingness to participate in advancing the Great Commission.
FELLOWSHIP STUDENTS |FYTH| - JOHNNY BEST
1. What outcomes have been observed (e.g., professions of faith, baptisms, spiritual growth, ministry involvement, etc.)?
2. What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
4. What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- FYTH has seen on average 16 students each week, some Sundays with 9 while others around 25.
- We began in February doing the Discovery Bible Study method for our weekly lessons. You can learn more about that by CLICKING HERE. This has been encouraging as it helps teach our students to read Scripture, understand how to interpret it and then pull its application to our everyday lives. Our High Schoolers (Megan Santos, Jalyse Best & Manny Cruz-Santiago) have been leading small group discussions.
- We had 21 students go to Lake Ann Summer Camp this year, two of them surrendering their lives to Jesus (Antoinette Counts & Avery Diaz)
2. What challenges or obstacles has the ministry faced?
- We have a large influx of middle school students and a minimal number of high school students. Growing our HS group is challenge as HS'ers want to be w/ other HS'ers so they join other youth groups.
- Ministering effectively to both younger and older students collectively. Starting September, we will be separating our 5th-7th grade students and our 8th-12th grade students.
3. Is the ministry adequately staffed and resourced?
- It's okay but need more.
- We have several parents/adults who have always stepped in to be a support on a weekly basis (Bob & Peggy Teefey, Andy & Grace Mead, Dave Tonegatto, Janice Best) which we are super thankful for... but we can always use more team members to get into the rotation.
- People to show up early and help set up games, prepare snacks/drinks for students and stay after to help clean.
- People willing to help assist with small group discussions/chaperoning events.
4. What is something the Church body can be praying for within this ministry?
- Pray for additional full-time staff person to be able to jump into ministry with experience to take off with minimal teaching/guidance/oversight.
- Pray our young people desire to live out their Identity in Christ and not the identity they are pressured to live from classmates and culture.

- Any added members to the ministry will have same unity and discernment for the Worship leaders (Gavin, Jhena, Janice)
