Why is Fellowship raising funds for the playground?
Our playground has quickly become a place where children play, families connect, and our community experiences the welcoming heart of Fellowship. We're raising funds to complete the project and ensure it remains a safe, durable, and inviting space for years to come.
What will my donation be used for?
Every gift designated to the Playground Fund will be used exclusively for playground-related expenses. We've already spent the funds for rubber mulch, weed barriers, plastic edging and equipment for excavating.
Why did you choose rubber mulch instead of wood mulch?
Rubber mulch provides a safer, longer-lasting play surface. Unlike traditional wood mulch, it doesn't decompose, wash away as easily, or require frequent replacement, making it a wise long-term investment for a playground that receives regular use.
Why happens if donations exceed the goal?
Any additional funds will remain designated for future playground improvements, maintenance, accessibility enhancements, or other family ministry outdoor spaces as approved by church leadership.
Our next improvement we'd like to make is to install two sun shades that will provide shade covers during the hot summer months.

Can I sponsor more than one square?
Absolutely! You're welcome to sponsor as many squares as you'd like or simply give any amount that God leads you to give.
Can I give in honor or memory of someone?
Yes. We'd be honored to have your gift given in celebration or remembrance of someone special. We can discuss possibility of small plaque mounted on fence.

Ultimately the Fellowship Bible Church Elder Team.
This project had actually snuck up on us and caused us to move pretty quickly because most of the manual labor of excavating and securing the ground was donated through the generosity of a church attender. He had limited availability and in order to save thousands of dollars, we believed it was our best option.
Looking at the finished product... we can confidently say we made the right choice! Not only because of the playground but what this project allowed the church to do... come together for our kids and community.
